Three little babies
Audrey (daughter of Geoff and Cheryl) was born 12 weeks early, weighing 1 pound 13 ounces. She faced a lot in hospital: intrauterine growth restriction, platelets transfusion, close to 4 weeks on a ventilator, IVH's (brain bleeds), lots of spells (when preemies "forget" to breathe), lumbar punctures, ROP (which can result in blindness) etc. Today she is a happy, healthy preschooler.

Charlie (son of Andrew and Kate) was born 14 weeks early, also weighing 1 pound 13 ounces. He spent 10 weeks in hospital. Today he is a typical six year old who is "full of beans" and is in grade two.

Nadine Guertin (soprano) was born 8 weeks early. Barely weighing 4 pounds, she spent her first month in the premature unit. Nadine is now a healthy adult, and is one of our fabulous performers!
